Agents are reporting an “explosion” in the high-end of Scotland’s housing market.

£1m-plus homes are selling within days as cash buyers seek to move to leafier areas.

“You could strip out 30% of the activity we are seeing now and you will still have a bonkers market,” said Cameron Ewer, head of residential sales in Scotland for Savills.
