The UK’s hot housing market cooled at the start of the year, according to a RICS survey.
New property listings, buyer enquiries and sales all fell in January, with a net balance of -28% of surveyors report a decline in enquiries.
A net balance of -38% reported a fall in new properties coming to market.
Agreed sales were also down, with the balance at -18%, versus +15% reporting higher sales in December.
