The housing market is emerging strongly
form lockdown as asking prices rise 2% higher than March.
Rightmove has found that average asking
prices rose by £6,266, or 1.9%, to £337,844 between March and May. Agreed
transactions were up by 40,000 as deals put on hold by the pandemic were
finally pushed through.
Rightmove said that buyers were paying
97.7% of the asking price, up from 96.6% in February.
