Demand for office space is back up on its five-year quarterly average, according to the latest figures from Cushman & Wakefield.

Between July and September, companies leased 2.77m sq ft of office space in central London, said Cushman – some 54% higher than leasing figures between April and June, and nearly three times what was taken up in the third quarter of last year.

It said the numbers were 12% above the five-year quarterly average, indicating that a “turning point in the post-pandemic London office market” had been reached.
