Blackfriars Road in Southwark has joined the ranks of Mayfair and Chelsea by recording more £5m-plus sales than any other address in the country.

In the past year 16 sales on the street have topped the £5m mark, all apartments at One Blackfriars, the bulging pupa known as The Vase.

According to analysis by law firm Boodle Hatfield, sales of £5m-plus properties in Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea were down by 23% over the past year, but rose by 19% in other parts of London.
